Scooter …. What is the difference with the motorcycle? Both two-wheel vehicle isn’t it? Hmmm …. It’s not that simple. Do you already know the differences?
Scooter is a motorcycle with some differences with standard motorcycle. The most visible difference is it smaller size, especially the 50cc scooters. The body frame cover most or all of its engine. Also, scooter has feet protective board on the front side. Both tires are smaller than any motorcycle in general, about 12 to 15 inches, although some of the scooters are designed to have bigger wheel.
Scooters also have engine that are far smaller than motorcycle’s. 50cc scooters to 400CC with single-cylinder engine are commonly used, although some of the types of scooter are modified in such a way, has a larger engine.
If you ask, “Which kind of scooter is suitable for me?”, then I firmly recommend you to buy 50cc scooters. Why? There are four things that support these suggestions. The first is the fact that the price for gas is sky-rocketing from time to time. Is this related? Of course, it’s related, 50cc Scooters only need 1 gallon of gas to cover the distance of 80 to 100 miles. Even up to 150 miles! Imagine the savings you’ve made in this current difficult time! Indeed scooters with larger engine than 50cc scooters, such as 150cc scooter, is certainly able to produce a better performance, but now the value of money means much more than just the performance isn’t it?
Ok, if it is not enough to persuade you, there are three other things that will. And that is the maneuver capability of these 50cc scooters. Compared with motorcycle, you do not need to change gear on every intersection. You only need to hit the gas and never worries about changing gears.
Now is the third. Unlike the motorcycle that has a larger relative size, 50cc scooters are much smaller. This means that you can easily park it or store it. You won’t need to provide more space to store them. Guest room may be enough to save your scooter when you’re not using it.
50cc scooters are able to run up to 45 km per hour. Isn’t that fast enough? Indeed, it is slower compared with the motorcycle, but don’t see as a negative thing. Slower is better than too fast, right? You are relatively safe if you are driving at this speed. You can run fast enough but still in the safe limit. It will certainly minimize the chance of accident to be happened. And this is the last thing that made me recommend the 50cc scooters.
Indeed, there are times when people want to own a car, the bigger the better …. but think about all the fuel it was needed! There is also times when people prefer motorcycle, the faster the cooler…. but statistic proven that it wasn’t safe at all! Well, that time is over. Now is the time where transport must be effective, efficient and safe as 50cc scooters are. So? Are you considering to buy 50cc scooters now?
