Just as its name, basically mini dirt bike is the miniature size of the original dirt bike. The size of this kind of bike is only half of the ordinary dirt bike’s size. It only able to carry ten stone in weight compare to a standard dirt bike. Because of its size, mini dirt bike is quite popular among children.
Mini dirt bike’s prices are ranging from $150 to $600. It all depends on the model and the specification. It is much cheaper than a standard dirt bike. Maybe that is why this great kind of bicycle is popular across the world.
The fuel tank of mini dirt bike can only contain as much as 1 liter worth of fuel. It is only enough to bring you circling a race track but of course it is not enough to be used as a mean of transportation.
Though mini dirt bike doesn’t have as much power as standard Dirt Bike has, its 47 cc to 250cc two-stroke engine could deliver a considerable speed enough to bring a virtual danger. This alternative transportation device also provides a minimum protection if an event of a crash should happen. An accident could be fatal so proper safety measure should be taken very seriously.
Helmet is a basic gear whenever riding a mini dirt bike. It could reduce the impact effect to the head in an accident. Another standard protection a mini dirt bike rider should wear is a safety suit. A safety suit is designed to reduce the body damage in an event of crash. But protective wear is not guaranteed to protect your life. The best safety measure is to pay close attention when riding.
This measurement became even more essential if the mini dirt bike driver is a youngster. It is advised not to let children below 11 years to ride this kind of vehicle. If your children are going to ride this popular model of Dirt Bike, you should first make them understand about the danger. Equip them with necessary protective wears, check the mini dirt bike properness, and watch them carefully.
This miniature dirt bike could be a great fun activity but remember that safety comes first. Mini dirt bike could also dangerous for those who careless and reckless.
