Motorcycle moped is designed and produced as a result of a modification of the motorcycle and bicycle. The form of this vehicle is more slender than a motorcycle, but heavier. Like a motorcycle, it also has a machine. Motorcycle moped has a similar design of two-wheeled motorcycle. This vehicle has a speed under motorcycles. Unlike the motorcycle, that has a maximum speed of 200 km/h; moped has speed only up to 80 km/hour. Low speed makes this vehicle is suitable for the transportation with short distance. In the big cities, this vehicle has been widely used as main transportation from a block to block in the housing areas.
In terms of fuel, the motorcycle moped has advantages rather than a common motorcycle. Economically, motorcycle moped need less fuel than a motorcycle. This kind of vehicle is very suitable for use by women as a means of transportation. Previously, motorcycle moped used the pedal. It was then called MOPED. The MOPED itself is motorized pedal cycle. With the advancement of technology, today the use of pedals has been removed, and many motorcycle products usually have no pedals. With developments in technology, design and shape of these products, motorcycle moped is become more attractive.
Advances in technology make the engine capacity become larger, though still below the 50 cc. The output power result from the engine is also high enough. This vehicle is relatively safe driving. On the road, because of its shape that resembles a bike, sometimes motorcycle moped is not realized when it passes quickly. It is then recommended to use equipment that is sufficiently striking to be seen. This vehicle was not designed for high speed; it is also suggested to use this vehicle for the quiet streets, and it is suitable for areas with a shorter distance. Go to school (children), shopping at the market, and for other purposes that are not too far away, driving a motorcycle moped is suitable.
