RAZOR Scooter, Classic And Sporty

Ever feel tired when walking from a room to another room in your big office? While bike is too big and roller skate is too difficult to be used as an alternative, then you are experiencing the same problem with Gino Tsai, an engineer in the JD Corporation engaged in the sale of bicycle’s aluminum spare parts and electric scooter. At that time, he felt that his leg is too short and his walking speed is too slow to explore the large factory where he worked in Chang Hua, Taiwan. Because of this problem, he felt it necessary to develop the classic scooter to a more modern scooter to fix the problem.
It took five years for Gino to design that scooter and the result, the Razor Scooter is presented for the first time. The design is basically a thin aluminum frame, a pair of Polyurethane wheels, and hinged fender above the rear wheels as a brake. The aluminum is the same class as the aluminum used in an airplane so it is able to withstand 1100 pounds amount of pressure without bend. Razor Scooter also has a headtube and grip that can be folded easily thus saves storage space. Razor Scooter was later manufactured in the United States by RazorUSA located in Cerritos, California.
Razor Scooter soon becomes an alternative in indoor or outdoor short-distance transportation. Many models are later produced. The most used model is model A, which many youth used to travel around the campus. The need for this product is increasing along the time. In fulfilling this need, Razor was soon produced many different versions. For model A, there are 4 versions, namely A, A2, A3, and the pro model (A4). In addition, there is also AW version which based on A model but with additional wheelie-bar. There is also the AW125 which has a 125mm wheel size and longer deck. For addition, there is also Cruiser Scooter version that has wooden deck and 140mm wheel size, the biggest wheel ever made for Razor Scooter.
Currently, the Razor Scooter has become a sport that attracts many people. Sports using Razor Scooter is called the freestyle scootering. In this sport, scooter rider tries to do acrobatic tricks using the scooter at many level of difficulty. Because the sport is relatively hard and rough, most people try to increase the strength of their Razor Scooter so it can withstand more pressure.
To overcome the need for a more powerful scooter, Razor release Pro (A4) scooter model that was modeled after the discontinued B model. This scooter type is much sought by fans of sports freestyle scooter because it has more power and bigger size. So for you that seek challenging sport why not try the freestyle scootering?
