When the car is losing its charm because of high oil prices and dense street, more people will wondering about another transportation alternative. We are not talking about the public transportation which has different qualities in every city. We’re also not talking about a skateboard or rollerblade which is almost as the same as walking. We talk about personal transportation that ready every time we need and the most suitable in this current period. We talk about the scooters, mopeds, and motorcycle.
Third type of transport, in many people’s opinion, is the most suitable for use at this time. They save our fuel money as cheap as when we use public transportation, and it is as agile as when we’re walking, so congestion is not a problem anymore. They also don’t require a large storage area. Scooters, mopeds, seem very suitable to use in life nowadays. But if you only want to have one, you may feel confused to make a decision. Therefore, let us try to gather together the benefits and disadvantages of each. Scooters, mopeds, or any other ?
What is our opinion about scooters, mopeds , or both ? Scooter is a motorcycle with additional protective feet boards and a foot rest board. The most prominent difference with the motorcycle is its relatively smaller tires. Scooter is saving more fuel than the motorcycle, but have a relatively higher speed than moped. Scooter is suitable for those who prefer to save fuel but do not want to sacrifice too much speed.
Moped is similar with scooter but with extra pedals as on a bicycle. Moped can be use as an ordinary bicycle, but can also be use just like a motorcycle when the engines switched on. With the moped, you can even save more fuel because you can use it without even turning on the machine to travel in a short distance. Moped is also very suitable for you who want to maintain the body’s vitality as you can exercise while you are traveling. Unfortunately moped’s speed is not as good as a motorcycle, even if the engine switched on.
Motorcycle … Well, you all surely have known. The different with Scooters, Mopeds, and both is their size of tire. Motorcycle physique is also bigger than the other three. The engines is also the strongest. Motorcycle able to reach speeds far higher than scooters , mopeds, and both. The blow back is it use more fuel than the other three.
So which is the best among scooters, mopeds? Which we should buy ? Well, it’s fully depending on your needs. If you only need to travel in a short distance then moped is the best to use. If you must travel far enough, scooter is good to use. And when you need a good effort at pursuing the time and distance, may be the most suitable is motorcycle.
